Watermarking Features
Watermarking is utilized to add overlays and underlays to PDFs. Overlays can include
page numbers, headers, footers, disclaimers, and print dates as well as the generation
of a signature page that is added to a PDF that is electronically signed. Watermark
information can include text, graphics, and document attribute values. Overlays and underlays
can be colored or shaded. ConVerge provides configurable watermarking with the
following features:
- Definition of different watermarks based on the type of document,
lifecycle state, and any other condition that can be defined using
document attribute values
- Positioning of watermarks in margins, headers, footers, or body of
the document
- Usage of text ("For Internal Use Only"), graphics, or document
attribute values such as title or lifecycle state
- Watermarks as overlays or underlays
- Application of the appropriate watermark based on page size and
orientation
